The design
We designed this plan ourselves to answer a simple question: what's the most functional two-unit layout we can build economically without it feeling like a budget rental? Each unit is fully independent, with its own garage and covered entry, behind a clean craftsman exterior.
Built for investors and owner-occupants
The layout works for a buy-and-hold investor renting both sides, or an owner living in one unit and renting the other. Because we hold rentals ourselves, durability and maintenance were part of the design from the start.
